Meet the Team

Cammy Aminzadeh, LAPC, CGP

Therapist

Cammy Aminzadeh is a licensed Associate Professional Therapist, National Certified Counselor with NBCC, and a Certified Grief Informed Professional who has a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University. She is a strong supporter of evidence-based practices and primarily uses a CBT-informed, solution-based approach.

As someone who has worked in a variety of fields and worked with people from many different walks of life, she has learned how to navigate complicated social and institutional systems while making sure that the person at the heart of those systems doesn’t get lost in the chaos.

She has worked in criminal law, real estate, and various hospitals. She has extensive experience working with mental health in inpatient units, medical floors, and in the emergency room. Also, as the oldest child of immigrants and a 2nd generation American herself, and as such, she also understands the value of intersectional culture and the unique struggles people caught between multiple identities and expectations face.

Learning to adapt and navigate while staying grounded in who you are can be difficult, but the more you understand yourself and how you operate, the more you will be able to face adversity with strength and fortitude.
